You must understand how cannabis grows in order to properly grow the plant to its full potential. Intro to Plant Physiology covers the entire life cycle of cannabis. From seed to seed. Discussion includes germination techniques and mother plant selection.
Advanced Hydroponics & Aeroponics 2010
With hydroponics and aeroponics comes the opportunity for more advanced growing techniques. Taking the next step with a more advanced method can yield very high returns for investment, however greater risk is involved. This is the class to bring all hydro/aero issues to the table. As well as learn tried and tested advanced methods that have proven successful time and time again
Legal 1010
In legal 101 you will learn the many different areas of the law, taught to you by an attorney whose expertise is in medical marijuana. The curriculum for this class includes a legal history of cannabis, overviews of Michigan and federal law, dealing with the law, and many other aspects of how cannabis laws affect patients, caregivers, businesses, and society as a whole. Also offered, one on one consultations with our legal professor.
Cooking & Concentrates 1010
“What do I do with all this trim and leftovers?”, this class will give you several options in how to deal with excess production. Learn how to make edible medication for your patients, as well as concentrates to more easily treat symptoms.
Cloning Lab 1010
Cloning is not as high tech as you may think. In this lab students receive hands on demonstration and instruction in the science of cloning. Several methods are shown, as well as breakdowns of common rooting agents, and mediums. Cloning is an essential part of any indoor horticulturalist.
Vegetative Growth 1010
Your seedlings are showing new growth, the clones have roots, its time to start vegetative growth cycle. Included are time tested feeding regiments for maximum vegetative growth. All aspects of the plant are covered, including the all important root mass. Mother plant care is also discussed, as well as a primer to pruning/training.
Hydroponics 1010
A primer for hydroponics, common and easy hydroponic methods are introduced. Hydroponic growing has shown to increase size, yield, and growth rates of cannabis. Hydroponic growing can be your effective answer for your indoor horticulture room. In depth discussion of DWC (Deep Water Culture) is also included.
Accounting & Taxation 1010
Our accounting and taxation class is taught by Brent Jones a Certified Public Accountant and Taxation Advisor. Brent Covers issues such as write offs, tax structure, business structure, business banking, IRS compliance, and cash flow charts.
Advanced Pruning & Super cropping 2010
Indoor horticulture presents challenges not faced in cannabis’ natural environment. What is needed is height control, accomplished through using advanced pruning, and training techniques. One of the most efficient, yet least understood is super cropping. In this class students receive hands on lessons in a lab environment on super cropping. As well as F.I.M., topping, and “lolly-popping.”

Perhaps the single biggest question asked is “What nutrients should I use?”. This class delves in depth into the role of macro and micro nutrients. Covering organics, as well as synthetics. Soil, or hydroponics, this class breaks nutrient needs down into a comprehensive guide for choosing nutrients. Also covered are different methods on how best to feed your plants these nutrients. Feeding regiments and nutrient calculators covered and included.
Advanced Business Development 2010
In our advanced business development class students learn advanced business strategy and revenue growth techniques. Students are taught key business fundamentals to grow their medical marijuana business to achieve six figure revenues.
Advanced Problem Solving 2010
Problems are constantly arising in today’s indoor horticulture techniques. Whether environmental problems are plaguing your plants, or nutrient deficiencies are stalling growth and weakening harvests, learning problem solving techniques is essential for today’s horticulturalist. Class consists of a lecture breaking down problem solving into a few easy steps. Examples of problems are also presented for evaluation by students in the class.
